In this project, you will be introduced to one and two point perspective drawing.
You will:
-Draw simple box shapes in perspective from various angles
-Draw more complicated shapes, which fit into ‘crates,’ such as furniture
-Draw and apply your knowledge to objects in a 3D space (i.e. in a room or landscape)
You will be introduced to Surrealism, which is an Art Movement. Paintings by René Magritte, a famous Surrealist artist, will be introduced and discussed (as well as others depending on time).
You will:
-Brainstorm possible Surrealist ideas for your artwork, composite and plan your picture
-Draw your own Surrealist artwork using perspective
-Add colour to your picture using tones
